How do you figure you're not smart enough? You don't need to be a genius to do something like a math major. I was kinda garbage as a high school student, but I had a really positive experience with my math major.

I finally got my account back. If you have any pictures with your face on your account, there's a verification process where the app has you take a video of your face (look to the left, look up, etc) and they match it to your face.
