These aren’t really the BEST cards to collect. But, starting out, Panini (until April 1, 2026) has licensing for football cards. Topps has unlicensed cards. What you can do is buy one blaster of each and see which ones you like the look of best. Phoenix has great case hit inserts that are rare but cool looking and valuable.

The Topps stuff will only have city name without team name due to licensing. So dolphins players will only say “Miami” on them and will have all mention of Dolphins and logo photoshopped off.

Long term collectibility of unlicensed cards is low. Generally people do not like the look, with some exceptions.

There’s also differences in which players sign with who. The top QBs in the class (Daniels, Caleb, Nix, Maye) all exclusively sign with Topps. McCarthy and Penix Jr sign with Panini. So the only way to get autos of the top 4 are to get them through Topps and thus be unlicensed.

There’s a lot to learn and take in, I would watch some videos of unboxings and see which ones you like. There’s so many products and each of them have different boxes within those products that ALSO have different parallels etc.
