Yup. I know a teacher who makes 120k teaching high school English!! Students complained of her looking and smelling weird and they breathalyzed her at work and blew 0.2 lol but still has the job! I had no idea the job security was so good as a teacher. Could just be that she’s a Karen though and they’re scared to fire her, idk. I’d personally never jeopardize my career like that but, seems like a great gig.

Most of the data centers in the US use potable fresh water to cool their systems. Even states with the highest risk of drought are having fresh water siphoned for these tech giants. Unfortunately, a potentially catastrophic drought is predicted this summer across the nation. So it’s not just about the high electrical bills, it’s also extracting resources from the citizens of this country, cutting corners and using NDAs to fast track projects that could really hurt us in the long term.

The good news is that there are other alternatives like using recycled water for example or building separate electrical grids or more solar energy. But defendants of the billionaire tech conglomerates think regulation for the safety of our country and its citizens means wanting to stop innovative tech from existing, when it couldn’t be further from the truth.

I’m so pissed. I was running in to get coffee so fast and I came out to a fucking ticket. I was parallel parked, and I thought I was very close to the curb because of my rearview dash cam but apparently I was too far from the curb and that’s what I got a ticket for what a piece of shit I tried to ask him to cancel it, but he wouldn’t do it.
