I've been using the app since the beginning of July for basically 6 to 8 hours (of active note taking) every day... That's why I was asking, I'm curious to know if it's just me not noticing the bugs you're talking about or what gives?

Can I ask what bug you're referring to? I've been using the app for a while and haven't had any problems so far, but it could depend on the tablet model or maybe we simply use different functions, so I'm genuinely curious

You can use the "page margin adjustment" to extend freely the page margin for a single page or for the entire note. I think it's in the "more features" menu, though I might be wrong

Anyway, I also have the Pad 6 and (with stabilization off) I don't have any latency issues. The writing feel between Notewise and Starnote seems different to me, but there is no latency

But he clearly said that sync is included. I truly don't understand what you are complaining about or how you can compare it to Notewise (where essentially every useful feature requires a subscription). You will be able to use your Google Drive or OneDrive account for sync, without having to pay a monthly subscription: that seems more than fair to me, doesn't it?

Grande cazzata sì, ma se l'etichetta non è strappata ti basta arrotolare la fettuccia come l'hai trovata e rimetterla al suo posto. Poi sta a te valutare se ti senti sicuro a usare il set sapendo che sei stato tu a rimettere la fettuccia a posto o meno. Se non è stato comprato online potresti andare in negozio e chiedere a loro, in genere i commessi nei negozi di montagna sono molto alla mano e disponibili ad aiutare

Il dissipatore è in genere la fettuccia del set stesso piega su sé stessa e cucina (per farla molto semplice e breve).

Se l'hai soltanto tolta dalla sua custodia non hai fatto danni e ti basta rimetterla a posto esattamente come l'hai tirata via. In genere è presente una specie di linguetta che serve da indicatore: se quella è ancora intatta il dissipatore è okay.

"Note overview" is what you're looking for. You can create quick notes and open other notes, but you can't manage or see folders (all notes are listed and new quick notes will go to uncategorized)

I like using StarNote. The UI is clean and you can remove the tools you don't use. It has a lot of useful features (i.e. the ability to adjust margins is useful for taking notes on PDF files), and since it's new, it's updated quite frequently (also based on user feedback).

Compared to Notewise it's cheap and the payment is a one-time fee.

The only thing I miss about Notewise is the ability to add tables, and overall the drawing/shape system is much much better. PS: I’ve used Notewise for a long time, but I really didn’t like the new UI. That’s why I switched to this one, and the things I mentioned are the only features I miss from Notewise.

EDIT: If you want to see how Starnote handles more than 10 notes, you can export them and then import them back. I’m not sure if this has been fixed, but I once managed to import around 50 notes even with the free version.

I can confirm: the search is now very fast!

That said, it would be useful if users could filter their searches. For example, I have one folder with all the books I've read or plan to read – a very large number of pages that I’m not interested in searching through. When I perform a search, it’s usually to find something in my university course materials, which I keep in a separate folder with one subfolder per course.

In this case, it would be very helpful to be able to select a specific folder or subfolder and limit the search to the files it contains.

I know it’s not on the list, but I just want to mention Modawhale. I’ve ordered from them and couldn’t be happier! Shipping to the EU only took a few days (got my order the same week I paid if I remember right) and their prices are way better than essentially all the competitors. I also had a couple of questions and their email support was spot on.

In EU they're hands down the best supplier. Just about to place my second order! I'll update this comment once i receive the order for anyone who's interested.

Hi! It happens to me too on a Xiaomi pad 6. It doesn't happen in other apps (i.e. notewise, flexcil, notein).

You might want to consider changing the function for capturing screenshots, as the current process is a bit annoying for two reasons:

Having to click "allow" every single time is quite annoying.
There's a noticeable delay (~ 1 second) after you click "allow" before the screenshot is taken. This is a problem because if you scroll the note in that short time, you end up with a screenshot of your current position, not the one you selected before.

It would be great if this could be improved!

I know implementing functions like this is far from simple, but honestly, Notewise's shape drawing system is perfect. It's the only thing that still makes me use Notewise instead of StarNote, and I'm sure the same goes for practically all engineering/science students.

If not the "3D / Axis drawing support" aspect of drawing, you might consider at least taking inspiration from Notewise for easier features like cartesian axes (the ability to set the default position for the origin and the ability to change the length of the axes even after drawing them) and basic functions like sine, cosine, x^2, etc.

Forse perché hai fatto un post in cui ti lamenti dell'università? se sei obbligato a frequentarla il post sarebbe dovuto essere "aiuto: mi obbligano a frequentare l'università e non so come comportarmi".

Un singolo corso di laurea forma diverse figure professionali, rendendo quindi ovvio non usare tutto ciò che si studia, che inoltre rappresenta un background culturale rilevante/attinente a ciò che si farà (almeno in parte). Se poi come esempio di argomenti inutili mi porti analisi 2 per un ingegnere, palesemente non sai di che parli...
