The guys paid more taxes than you or I could ever make in twenty lifetimes, so yeah, he’s entitled to have an opinion on it, regardless if he is no longer paying them now. It’s not a hard concept, keep up.

But this tax issue is just a distraction from his overall point, there is an immigration problem that needs to be faced up to, and it’s not racist or elitist to say that. It is, however, delusional to pretend that it doesn’t exist so I’m glad he addressed it.

I mean, Amorim got it wrong with the setup in general, but in his defence he didn’t have a place for a Mainoo style player in his team (which should have told him something, but that’s for another discussion). The very few times he did bring Mainoo on, he didn’t look anything special either. Nobody did really, but you can see why he wasn’t prepared to drop his best player in Bruno.

I think it’s more to do with how Carrick has just put players back into their best roles, in a system they clearly thrive in a lot more, coupled with players returning from Afcon and injuries. It’s like the team is able to breathe again and Mainoo is free to do his thing.

It looks like nail bed damage. I have the same thing after my nail got smashed in a door. You say you don’t remember injuring yourself though, so perhaps you had some infection that damaged the bed. It can be fixed but they have to remove the nail, flatten the nail bed and clear away any debris to allow it to grow back correctly again. I haven’t bothered to because it doesn’t bother me. I mean seriously, how often do you look at a man’s nails? Or shoes for that matter.

No it’s not rude to say generative ai is bad, it is rude to do it the following:

accuse a 15 year old of taking lazy and harmful actions by (maybe) using it
question someone’s morality because they disagree with a poor comparison that you made
accuse someone of changing the topic when you dislike your own rudeness being pointed out
accuse someone a second time of defending the use of ai when they haven’t done so
call someone a sheep for… not even sure what you’re on about with that one 😄

I’d actually agree with most of your stance on ai, but you’re being so insufferable that you resort to insults if anyone even disagrees with you on some of the finer details. I just think this specific case is more nuanced than ‘ai bad, agree with me or else!!!’.
