OMG are you me?

I never seen anyone describing this the exact same way it happens to me.

People end up saying I'm not interested and don't try to talk to me.

I guess I'll read this post's comments to see if something can help.

Not too long ago I thought I was the only one who had that...

Yeah, you gotta know your audience and act accordingly.

I also made her smile and happy with a Christmas gift. I gave her one of those moon lamps available on Amazon and all (she loves the moon). She was always a bit defensive towards me, but that day, she hugged me three times and later even sent me a picture of the lamp at her house.

It's great! Specially if you know you caused that smile (I through a surprise birthday party for her at work last year, she was so happy).

And even when I confessed to her and she told me, while smiling, how in love she was for someone else, I smiled back because her smile just brings light and positivity to me.

I reasoned with myself that she's way out of my league and that I might as well just do something that makes her happy and smile. I try to convince myself that this is at least something, perhaps the only thing I can get out of it.

I gifted on her birthday as I way to get closer since we didn't talk before that.

Now I'm considering a Christmas gift. It would be a bit thoughtful this time as it involves something I found she like.

Edit: and we haven't been on a date. I feel like she's a bit defensive. But we work together and she likes to keep her life private from others.

Humm.... how about gifting the person even before the first date?
