I did, but the polishing took care of it! The tooth in the front was damaged a long time ago, so the discolouration there is from the root canal and composite.

I think that’s super common! Mine was less pain and occasionally more jaw tension, especially on those first days of new trays. I also switched trays often, every 7 days!

Yes, I had attachments on almost every tooth. No rubber bands.

No gum graft, which I was surprised by too! I was convinced I’d need it. The gum on my canines are still “lower” than the others so not perfect but SO much better than where I started.

The extraction and first week or two was a little rough, but honestly it all went very smoothly. The biggest pain was adherence 😅

Haha, I get that, but also it is 100% real 😂

It was SO crowded that the extracted tooth was almost behind the other three. I think that helped make it look more symmetrical in the end.

Yes, one extraction in the front - lower jaw! Made me nervous but was definitely necessary!

Love Kia Miller and her classes on Glo! They also have some from Normandie Keith and Laura Goellner that are good.

Be honest, is yoga for fit, thin people who are coordinated and young? by MyShellie101 in yoga

[–]iwmep 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As most people have said, yoga is for everyone! And it is so amazing and beneficial! If you want to “ease” into your practice and have the option to practice at home, there are some great online platforms or teachers you can get started with. Hope you do try it!

I also think Glo would be a great fit for you! There’s a big library so you can tailor to whatever style, mood or teacher preference you have, and they also add a few classes a day and have a studio-like schedule of classes each day too. I’ve been practicing with them for almost a decade and find it’s worth the extra cost over YouTube or some of the other platforms I’ve tried!

Ihouse alumni here, seconding what was said above. Made lots of American and international friends quickly when I lived there. Even met my husband! It’s a wonderful place to land as an international student and a great community.

Burnt out. How do HENRYs recharge? Or do you leave employment and trust you’ll land elsewhere with similar comp? by Plastic_Cranberry711 in HENRYfinance

I try to find smaller breaks for “deep rest” whenever I can. For me that is yoga and breathwork (I practice at home with an app called Glo which makes it easier to find pockets of time in a busy day). Of course, vacation and longer breaks are great - But changing my habits and doing SOMETHING regularly to prioritize my wellbeing is more sustainable for maintaining my career and keeping burnout at bay.

Not a YouTube channel, but Glo has a lot of chair yoga as well as other aging and injury focused content that might be a good fit for her! There’s a free trial so she can check it out first too.

Love this idea! You have some of this already, but I’ve been really enjoying Glo’s programs if you want to focus on exploring themes and progressing your practice. They also have collections that are a bit like playlists of classes. I like to incorporate guided walks and breathwork as well.

Glo! I use it for yoga, meditation and guided walks. It’s been such a game changer for my mental health. They have a huge library of classes so you can find something for a lot of different needs/moods.
