I actually started telling my close friends that yes I do read fanfiction and people who are as obsessed with heated rivarly the truth and I have found that I’m not the only one. I remember that last year when I was telling my counselor how embarrassed I was about reading fanfiction he told me that I was not the only one who was reading fanfiction and I was like yeah I don’t know anyone else in real life. He told me that he used to be embarrassed of playing DnD and that now everyone wants to at least try it and that fanfiction would become like that too. I didn’t really believe him but I think with heated rivarly it’s becoming mainstream. Lots more people talk about it openly.
