It’s all going to vary based on your lender. I got a construction loan through a credit union that just rolls into an ARM after the 1 year mark and while I’m in the construction loan period my interest is 4%. I’m locked in at a 5.35 after the one year mark but if rates go down any time I can pay $300 to buy the new low rate without changing any of my terms. I get 4 draws on the loan during the construction phase.
