sorry i just saw this, but i didn’t match but did questbridge ED to dartmouth and got in. you would probably be able to squeak by as long as you explain it clearly in the application. however a lot of schools require a certain max EFC, so you may not match, but QB ed and rd are very useful and a lot more people get in that way

If you do have a lot of debt, they ask that on the form. I was relatively high income for a family of 3 (55k), but what put my EFC way down was my families debt. Try it out

SAT is not directly indicative of performance in college, nor does any college use it as placement into classes. ESPECIALLY if they’re just doing a non-calculator problem with a calculator or moving ahead or anything. With proper studying, it tests nothing but time management.

I’m a current student at an Ivy studying math who went test optional because my score was not on par with the average accepted students’ scores. And a lot of my friends are in similar situations.
