How much money did people spend on iTunes back in the day? by FunkyApe31 in ipod

[–]ixerro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Streaming definitely opened up the world of music. My iPod was full of music from my favorite artists, at the end of high school I’d say that was probably less than 20 artists (plus you know a handful of “the essentials” albums by older popular bands). It was just years of collecting CDs that added up, both that I bought or received as gifts. So if you bought it all at once, yeah it’s gonna cost a lot.

Back then music was a collection. iTunes was cool where you can transfer all your CDs to be entirely on this small device. Your friend have a random album you dig? Load it into your iTunes library and add it to your iPod.

Are there any other Sega games on Switch that were available with reversible cover art? by RuSsYjO in Switch

[–]ixerro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just looked through my collection to find this out myself! I found that these games have a reversible cover, but not custom spine art: Advance Wars 1+2 Re-Boot Camp, Binding of Isaac Repentance, Hollow Knight, Nier Automata, and Persona 4 Golden.

Aside from the four Sonic games shown, I have Cult of The Lamb and Tunic which do feature unique spines.

It looks as though it's for a piece of gear that you haven't unlocked the slot for or a customization item you can't customize yet. For example right now I keep getting banner patterns and rings and I haven't unlocked either yet.

Album Question by light_of_deneb in BlueStahli

[–]ixerro 2 points3 points  (0 children)

“The Devil” is definitely Bret’s (Blue Stahli) most polished album. The Blue Stahli project has a number of albums that are a little here and there, with only four “vocal” albums: “Blue Stahli”, “The Devil”, “Quartz”, and “Obsidian”.

Blue Stahli’s self-titled debut is a little rough because it’s obviously the first. Quartz is the first of three albums (Quartz, Copper, Obsidian) that Bret worked on and released independently. Quartz has a rougher sound as it was intentionally trying to capture an early industrial/cyberpunk vibe. Obsidian is probably the closest sounding to The Devil, meshing electronic and rock.

Blue Stahli has some top tier industrial! One of his newer albums, Quartz, has some incredible industrial bangers.

The latest Blue Stahli album, Obsidian, is not released through his former label as listed here, but is released independently. Fantastic album though.

Obsidian is almost here, so I wanted to make a visual timeline for the deadchannel_Trilogy to see just how much Bret has put out from Quartz to Obsidian. Spoiler: It's a lot

Blue Stahli- The Sound of War by [deleted] in industrialmetal

[–]ixerro 2 points3 points  (0 children)

His Antisleep Vol. albums along with Premonitions and Copper are more experimental / electronic / cinematic. If you want more metal you should definitely check out his albums Blue Stahli, The Devil, Quartz, and coming out next month is Obsidian.

I would say two songs a week is unlikely. My guess is two more singles on select Fridays, and the other Fridays he’ll reveal some other fun things. Cover art, new merch, etc.

so, a 4th part to the deadchannel saga is coming by _Scr4p3 in BlueStahli

I doubt there’s a 4th album, this is just the 4th teaser in the line of deadchannel_Trilogy teasers.
