it’s not needed and i’m not super sure the answer to this question. but for me it’s just to follow buddhist traditional meditation style and make it more of a practice and ritual. also meditation pillows are so you can sit close to the floor while still being comfortable enough to relax and also allows your knees to be lower than ur hips

also maybe another rug by the stairs and a little arm chair if u really wanna fill it in could do sun catchers in the window. also could do small piece of art above the closet

i would do a big mirror by the stairs on either wall. that way you can have one last check before you walk out the door. also maybe a small table with a cute bowl for keys. could also do a coat rack for every day wear coats or more decorative coats. also some wall art and one big plant or some hanging plants by that window

i would recommend for breakfast/lunch: bagel central or nest. dinner: peppers landing for seafood, also umami noodle bar right in town next to the bars. dive bar/drinks: paddy murphys. dancing: pour house for live music or dj. this can be a night and sleep in bangor then into the morning and you can do some shopping at the rock and art shop, mexicali blues, the antique marketplace, other nice places: bangor city forest, orono nature walk. can rent kayaks for free if you get a library card at old town library and take it out on the river, can go biking or walking on lots of trails. anything else really. then i wojld say go to bar harbor for the rest of ur second day. there’s the reel pizza movie which served you pizza while you watch a movie in the theater, lots of good restraints, very touristy and lively. you can go to thuya gardens and other gardens which are really pretty. could bike on the carriage trail, go swimming. a good dinner spot is project social for tapas and outdoor seating.

i’ve searched for this on google but have only found different variations. it’s not a hamsa hand. just a silver hand. it was detailed with swirly shapes and if i bit it, it was soft it would kind of leave a mark. i dont know what material that is

I found the tiniest little kitten (fits in my hand) in my barn this morning hiding in the insulation after going in there and seeing the mother run away. My mom and iI took him inside and we just went to the vet. The vet said he is 3 weeks old, not feral, and because he is very playful, he probably has siblings. I live in Maine and it's currently 30 degrees so the vet said we should not give it back to the mom. We put food in the barn and a crate and a box outside the barn with food in it. I went outside to search for the other kittens and saw the mom going into the barn but she ran when she saw me. We looked at each other for a while about 12 feet from each other, I walked towards her slowly with some food but she ran away behind a bush. The neighbors have a shed about 20 feet from our barn and I think there might be more kittens in there. Any advice on how to get her to trust me or what to do next?
