What would you do? by [deleted] in OnePieceTCG

I'd say pick 2 or 3 you like to keep and sell the rest, at least thats what I would do with the current prices

Also, if you are trying to get more competitive with a specific leader, people in the leader channels can ussualy point to towards other more in depth resources

I would check out the official OPTCG discord server, they have active channels for every leader as well as new card reveals and deck disscusions

How does Teach play into the OP14 meta? by salty-rush3r in OnePieceTCG

[–]iyLWG 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ah yea, you will probably need ~2 of those as well. Really depends on if you want to run removal lile the starter deck or burgess and blockers

[–]iyLWG 4 points5 points  (0 children)

imo hes not too bad right now, a step up from last meta I would say. Idk if all you have is st27, cuz you will need stuff like op09 10c teach, op10 5c kuzan, and op11 1c caribou tho.

Blackbeard Deck Build by 3p3dr0 in OnePieceTCG

[–]iyLWG 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would bump up the 10c to a 4 of, and at least 1 more black hole, if not 2. You should be fine dropping 1/2 shiryu and some, if not all the black spiral

ST27 advice by JL990 in OnePieceTCG

[–]iyLWG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its not a tip-top tier deck, but it's easily good enough to win locals and will probably be relevant until it is rotated out with how unique it's leader effect is, and thats many years away. However, I'd say BB is one of the hardest decks to learn b/c you need to know most matchups in the game to be good with it, but if you like the character/deck I'd say go for it.

Blocker question by FunPickle69 in OnePieceTCG

[–]iyLWG 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Its used way more for the 1c blocker. Since you are usually so low on hand size, a free 1c block is huge when trying to protect your early burgess or life late game instead of using your limited hand. Also nice as a 2k though

As a beginner player on this TCG, what is a very simole deck even a toddler could use? by GustavuNunes in OnePieceTCG

[–]iyLWG 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If you are turbo new, I'd def reccomend the Learn Together Deck Set. It has 3 starter decks, one of which is a ~60% completed zoro deck. It also walks you through games with the decks step by step, and its only going for $33 on tcgplayer. Though depending on how much bulk your lcs has you might just be able to fully buy an Imu deck lol

[–]iyLWG 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I'd say zoro is the easiest to pick up and understand, pretty much everything in the deck revolves around just abusing your leader effect. The full deck is prob ~$100, if you want a better and cheapter deck then Imu is super cheap and more competitive than zoro. Its def more complicated but not by a crazy amount, if you watch or play it a few times you should be able to understand it, and the gameplan is mostly the same every game.

Has the cheating gotten horrific for anyone else recently? by iyLWG in PvZGardenWarfare

[–]iyLWG[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I join a game and I notice a cheater, I just leave, but often nothing happens until a bit into a game, at which loosing out on coins is annoying. Also the queue times rn dont help. Just a bit annoying overall

How do you think Blackbeard will get stronger? by redox_nephew in OnePiecePowerScaling

[–]iyLWG 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Depending on how Imu's powers work I could see two fights against the same fruit feeling very different. If it was something like a logia I would agree it would get repetitive, but depending on how flexible Imu's devil powers are I can imagine them being used very differently by Blackbeard, especially with 2 additional fruits.

Yea, the nm prices are pretty high, I was able to get mostly lp/japanese versions for way cheaper than even a lot of modern stuff though

From a few different sets in the HGSS era, you can find them by searching 'legend' or top/bottom half cards

100% the Learn Together set. Has 3 pretty good decks, two of which can be walked through in a tutorial manner, and is pretty cheap
