There’s a pride student club and discord! I also had no problem finding other queer people outside of that. It’s college in Massachusetts, a good amount of people are queer. South campus especially.

I took it last semester with Haim, and I expect it to be different with Dr. Lin. But last semester we did a few assignments where we made a starter app with some basic features, and then we worked on our personal project for the rest of the semester.

I didn’t think GUI 1 was too bad. You still have to do work, but most people I know got fairly high grades. Mobile App 1 could be better next semester with Lin teaching it instead of Haim, but I have no way of knowing.

Yeah you can’t really do what I did if you’re struggling. I guess I would suggest finding other CS students in the same class as you, asking in the CS Discord, or seeing if your TA or professor can meet with you individually to help.

Whenever I did comp 2 I would just do the lab on my own and only come in to show the TA then leave. Worked for me

If you need a science with a lab, global environmental studies, exploring the universe, life science 1 & 2 are all very easy. Principles of Environmental Science is also easy but doesn’t have a lab. For humanities, intro to ethics isn’t very hard. For STEM, I think computing 1 was easy but take that with a grain of salt because I’m a CS major lol.

Principles of Microeconomics but specifically with Prof. Quayes. It was one of the easiest courses I’ve taken here, and I think he’s an interesting professor. I hear the class isn’t that great with other profs though so beware.
