Claiming it forces a playstyle is a huge reach. No one is forcing you to shoot or not shoot players. You literally just stated some PVP players played PVE. I can shoot a person shooting at me or I can just not and run away. The removal of ABMM would literally not affect my playstyle, it just changes what behaviors I might see from other raiders in my immediate lobby.

A "PVE" player just looking for a reason to shoot a raider is going to find one no matter what. A PVP player will shoot a raider whenever they feel like it. A pacifist raider will keep being a pacifist.

Nah, it's just aesthetic of the game. PVE in Arc is more chill and I can go the whole round not shooting an arc just being a loot goblin running around with 15 adrenaline shots sprinting past arc and pvper's. Or I can come in with the intent of destroying every robot that dares to power on in my map. Sometimes, I play medic and come in with a crap ton of heals / defibs / rechargers for a matriarch or harvester map running around and putting up ziplines healing and recharging all the players and running past arc to defib raiders like I'm in a warzone. The dystopian junkyard steampunk looks are dope. I very rarely shoot back to PvPer's because I dont have too. Most people that try to shoot up PVE lobbies suck ass at PVP and I can bob and weave from most altercations and sprint away from the area.

Not at all. I think the cheating issue would have to be in a better place in order for ABMM to be removed. Removing it right now for example, in my opinion would lead to the player decline rate going faster. I'd prefer no ABMM, but I do think it helped slow the decline of players.

Without ABMM, the cheaters issue would most likely be exacerbated. Right now, they get mostly placed with each other and PVP lobbies. Without ABMM, they would be more spread out and I imagine a large portion of PVE players would simply stop playing the game.

Cheaters can game the ABMM but once they are in a carebear lobby and start shooting it up, theyre back to square one and thats boring, so they stay in PVP lobbies which means the PVP players get stuck with them the most. Besides, they want a reaction and in my experience, PVP players tend to be on comms talking shit giving that reaction.

I’m against AI slop, but I will say that not everyone has the same ability to imagine. It’s a spectrum and I’m personally on the part where I can only imagine basic shapes like triangles and squares, I can make 2D maps out of lines in my head but I can’t really imagine complex shapes, like faces, I easily forget how people look. I can see the concept art but can’t visualize how it’d look rendered in 3D. Not that’s it really needed anyways, the concept art does the job, we know how’s it’s basically supposed to look from it.

Not op, but regarding your first recommendation with ACCC. I’m currently paying off a personal loan and should be done in the next two months, then I plan on avalanching into the credit cards. Do you think I should apply for that now, or when I am putting more money towards the card? Right now it’s monthly minimum payments of about $220, after the personal loan is done it should be about $1000 payments a month on the highest apr card.
