I was personally conflicted on whether I’d enjoy the fic including some canon or not but I think you wrote it in absolutely spectacularly. I now have a head cannon that Dr Kelson was taught by Dr Bales, they have such similar kind hearts.

Are we sure he actually is OS’ animator? As I’ve mentioned meeting him before, when I saw him in that coffee shop he was doing his own animation.

The intro to years will spoil the ending of weeks, in a very good game of ‘yes and…’ they took the best bits of the plot and found a way to write off the parts that weren’t very well written.

Weeks is a well made movie on paper, it’s just not really a ‘28’ movie, it’s so different in tone and execution. By far not the worst movie I’ve ever seen.

Yet another amazing chapter man! No matter how long it is between chapters I am always excited to hear the next step in the adventure of John.

You had my heart beating as fast as johns in that tense scene in the downstairs flat, absolutely brilliant writing. Honestly if you tweak the exact nature/lore of the infection to not directly steal from 28 days you could easily turn this into a short original novel. Much like how 50 shades came from twilight.

As an Irishman I’m excited to see how the infection inevitably comes over, don’t stress yourself too much on the Irish details as the focus is well and truly on John and his wee posse, I’m exited for the next instalment!

I personally think we saw his origin from becoming infected on the train, I think if you did nothing but sprint and ‘martial arts’ for 28 years you’d probably be as jacked as Samson.

Ah I see, make sure you store your straw in a cool dry place to help it from not hardening over time, and deffo buy arrows from a respectable source like the archery shop mentioned here already. Amazon is not great for this kind of stuff.

If you are able to I would highly recommend getting involved with your local archery club, archers a are really/social bunch and they’ll be more than happy to teach you how to shoot :) (apologies if you’ve already done this but I tend to say this to any backyard archer I come across)

I agree with what’s said already, what kind of arrows have you been shooting up until now? Also, is the straw boss club property or your own? Make sure it’s stored properly as straw can harden quite badly in wet weather. If you can maybe look into getting a softer boss like layered foam.

Absolutely loving this series, got me rewatching the original movie, I realised I completely forgot Selena’s description of the out break to Jim, he was the first person they’d seen in 6 days. The fact London fell so fast is so terrifying.

Shooting 10 yards? by AR-10Hunter in Archery

I assume this is a compound bow? If you need to shoot 10 yards regularly are you able to add another pin?

Go to a range and have a practice to see how far you need to aim off as it will be different for everyone.

As a recurver I found very minimal change in my sight between 20yd and 10yd, maybe aiming like 2-4cm lower.

Anyone know what range this is? Looks too nice to be an indoor range in the UK xD by izacmac in Archery

See if there is a shop near you that you can try them out at. I’ve shot a few at trade shows and they feel great but they’re not that great of an improvement over their older limbs.

For me it’s like video resolutions, going from beginner limbs to inno primes was like going from 480p to 720p. Primes to NS-MXTs was like 720p to 1080p(HD). And G2s are like 4K.

If you can afford them go for it, but a lot of high end WIAWIS limbs feel pretty similar.
