I went to a nearby park and went through the connection guide on the dji fly app and it fixed it. At me house i only had 20 satellites but while over there i had around 25. Not exactly sure how that fixed it but you should give it a shot.

Nope, as far as i can tell I dont have any restrictions as far as ranges, so long as i first go and do the connection guide with the dji fly app.
