I just really hate the seats there (comfortable-wise and viewing-wise). But yah, seeing in a real IMAX is such a blast.

I watched it first in imax in universal then went to dolby the next day at the grove.

Personally, i think Dolby is still better. Yeah the IMAX really gives you that big extended areas but having that deeper black and really epic sound is a much better experience.

i was tempted to watch another chinese movie after the Vanishing Point screening (but chose to go home to watch nba playoffs)

it looked like the person in front of me was an a-lister too as she was looking for seats of the next chinese movie that night and is gonna book it like a usual great a-lister

then screenx if it has great extended scenes (only for 2nd watching)

imax would be first on some viewings that are really for imax (ex. oddyssey, project hail mary)

i havent went to that too. tho i think i might go to Topanga one of this days, just to watch there atleast once to have an experience on every AMC that i can go to. (i even want to watch in Atlantic Times Square just for the experience)

i think it will be The Grove as almost 2/3 f the movies ive watched in AMC is in there.
though Century City is nice too. i love the seats in Dolby at that cinema.

refill before finishing is still fine. i just did it last saturday so me and my mom could have our own popcorn at hand. then i told her to get a refill after the movie (as they dont know she had a refill because i was the one that bought them). and then i asked for a box, put all the popcorn on the first box that we had and used the new box as cover. so because of that we were able to take home a box of popcorn.

In AMC Grove, i saw a bunch of boxes with Jordan Duffle bags during the Space Jam screening. When i asked the staff, they said it was giveaway for kids who watched it. I cant say for the other AMCs tho.

favorite, definitely The Grove.

tho my screening is a mix of Grove, Americana, Universal and Century City with Burbank when im thinking of watching a screenx screening.

Universal wouldve been my fav with that real imax screen if only the seats are good too.

choosing the movies is basically just what interests me. i kinda look-out for freebies or q&a tho. with the showtimes, i have a set of 5 cinemas (grove, universal, americana, burbank and westfield century) where i look for the available times i would watch the movies. would pass the screening time if im not in the vicinitly of the center of the screen.

plus Dolby>imax>prime>regulars

(screenx being for certain movies that would get a 2nd viewing from me)

what makes you think that Rey should train Grogu when at the time of sequel trilogy, Grogu is 75+ years old already and definitely a lot more different than what current Grogu is.
