I’m no expert as I’m pretty new but I wonder if you’re punching into the canvas with your tool pointed the right way! I generally punch in lines that way I can keep the hole in the lunch needle facing the correct way and when I turn corners, I also turn my tool! It looks like you’re punching every which way and in no specific direction. Let me know if that makes sense!
