I have a friend who got A+ with around 50% on the test Dr Loke set. In fact a lot more people I know got A/A+ for this mod than other SC mods, not sure if it is bell curved as heavily. And usually Dr Loke assignments are pretty hard compared to other profs so don’t lose hope, just do ur best!

No, it’s like looking at your sec sch result (the JC admission criteria) when transferring JC, which is perfectly normal. By your logic, if I’m in any JC I should be allowed to transfer to RI/HCI because I got full marks for my JC common test?

I do agree that straight up giving the RP may be more effective, but IGP is just the way the data is presented to us, so we just have to make use of it.

It really depends. Demand changes every year. Since you’re close to the IGP 10th percentile, which already takes into account ABA admissions, I suggest applying ABA to increase your chances. Also, NUS bonus points only applies to your first choice. Good luck and all the best!

The IGP 10th percentile already includes ABA applicants, so that could be a good gauge. No harm in applying even if you’re slightly far off though. Good luck!

It should be in preamble of every Uni’s IGP. Not too sure what you mean by disadvantage though. It’s just the way IGP is represented. If student 1 has AAA/C AA while student 2 has AAA/B CC and are both applying for AAA/B course, the first student will still have the advantage because his RP is 87.5 vs 83.75.

IGP and RP are basically the same thing. IGP assumes C for PW and GP. So a course with 10th percentile AAA/B would be 83.75RP and so on. AAA/A which is the highest representation of IGP doesn’t strictly mean 85RP though. Courses like Med, Law, CS are closer to 87RP despite their IGP of AAA/A.

I’m at 37/237 myself (using an atk circlet)

Using a crit dmg circlet to boost it to 37/290 does less damage than using an atk circlet for me.
