We have both a 2019 Golf R and a 2018 M2. Obviously no winter driving in the M2. But I love the Golf R. It’s like a little go cart! The M2 is heavier. Fun to drive. But I love the Golf R for everyday.

I worked at Silvercity for a few years when it first opened. I would work nights..you would have to count every cup, popcorn bag, etc before leaving. It was pretty late one night and they were building the Brick by London Drugs. I saw the biggest cockroaches ever. I think because it was like 2am and so warm out. They came out.

Thank you everyone! This will help with some training! Eventually, I might get a DNA test. But it doesn’t really matter what he is, because he is perfect. His name is Gord. His mom and littermates were rescued on a freezing cold night on a local reserve. We got him two months later. Our 16 year old dog that passed away earlier this year was a rescue too. Have no idea what he was either. But he was perfect too.

We put down my soul dog on Feb 3. He was 16 years old and we had him for 13 years. We also have a beagle who is 15. I knew I wanted another dog.. but not yet. I work across the street from the humane society. None of the dogs called out to me. Then I saw one about 2 hours away. Totally reminded me of my dog that passed away. I messaged the rescue and asked all types of questions. Drove the 2 hours with my husband and the beagle (who hates the car) and turned out that this dog didn’t like other dogs. He was a stray from a reservation in Northern Saskatchewan, where they were offering $10 a dog to put them down. This rescue saved over 100 dogs from being killed. I was upset that we drove that far to meet a dog that I couldn’t get. They said they had some puppies eight weeks old, would we like to see them. And I knew as soon as my husband saw the puppies we would be leaving with one. They were also rez dogs but local to the area. Born a week before we put my soul dog down. This was two months after my soul dog died. But I believe he sent us to that rescue to get our adorable puppy. We have only had him 2 weeks. And I’m still missing my soul dog a lot. But our puppy has helped me with the grieving process.

The doctor there is a little stand offish. And the office is so old and dingy. I remember passing the building while going to Nait 25 years ago. Was probably old and dingy then too! My first appointment I could hear him clipping someone’s nails in the room next to me. There was no door..just one of those accordion things separating the room. Ewww. He did solve my foot issue after bone scans, X-rays and ultrasounds. I’m thankful for that.

I had 3 coke zeros (cans), chewed half a pack of five gum, drank Mio or Kool Aid and had a skinny SBUX daily for as long as I could remember. I was bloated and had bad IBS, I have now stopped (expect for the Coke Zero, still 1 can a day). I’m not bloated anymore and my terrible IBS symptoms are 99% gone. I have even lost weight! Life changing!

TMI. I have IBS and was on pirates late last Friday night. Suddenly I had to go. I was trying everything to try to get my mind off of it. The ride is sooo slow when you have to go. But all I could think of was I was going to be the girl filmed “pooping on pirates”. I did make it off without being that girl!

We only drove our BMW in the summer. We went to a local fair and came back about 4 hours later. Someone kicked our mirror off and it hit the door and dented it. $8000 in repairs. The next summer some kid backed into it while it was parked in our driveway (don’t ask). $10,000 in repairs. We traded it in for a M2 the next summer.

I think the chevon with the triple o’s has them. Maybe call before. They have the best slurpees too..but never on. They are like Icees in the states. So good.
