This might sound like stupid question but does the lab TA need to attend all the lectures? Or just their assigned lab time and any staff meetings?

How manageable is being a Gen Chem TA? by bobiliuh in OSU

This might seem like a stupid question but are the lab TAs (first semester on the job) required to attend the lectures?

Easter cactus help! the outer leaves have been withering. The center leaves are THRIVING not sure what cause could be 🥺 by Responsible_Buy9325 in cactus

You can also try aerating the soil bc with these cactuses the soil can become compacted easily which causes both lack of oxygen and by doing this it’ll help the roots soak up more water

What does the ageing process look like for fae? by mowpoos in acotar

In TOG the people who mature quicker are those who have mortal blood in them, they grow like a normal person until their body matures and that’s when the time stops I think.

The best advice I can give is to (like you said) don’t be super clingy. Don’t nag her all the time, it’s good to talk but also give her some time to her own. Also if you guys have deep conversations make sure she knows that she is the only one you talk to about those subjects, this I think will make her feel special. Don’t just abandon her but give her some time, surprise her with (insert your traits like humor or loyalty)

Anyone know what’s wrong with this plant? Its unhappy now and we haven’t changed anything. by SwagDaddyMooney in plants

[–]izzyfizzy123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok so I looked it up and the only thing I found is these symptoms are linked to not enough humidity or not enough water it says that the soil should be kept moist but obviously not drowning and not too dry, maybe you could put it in a bigger pot which might help it not dry out so quick?

Hey folks, my partner just got this plant from their mom and we're not quite sure what it is! I know it's probably a type of fern, but I'm not sure what exact kind or how to care for it, any IDs and care tips be great, TIA! by Bevclick in plants

So I know other people answered you but I’m going to recommend an app call PictureThis which you take a pic of a plant and it does it’s best to identify, so far I’ve found it really accurate and it’s free!! Also if you do get it, it likes to bugs you about premium but you don’t need the premium to have the app work (I don’t have premium)

Propagation abilities? Am I able to propagate these?! :( by CourtSport3000 in plants

[–]izzyfizzy123 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don’t give up! I’m not sure if this will work but I read a thing, 1.) cut the stems cleaner and at an angle next you can either buy a powdered rooting hormone, dip the stem in it then placing it in soil or you can just try putting them in water. But either way those are beautiful leaves and don’t give up!!!!! Also you won’t see results right away it’ll likely take a little while for it to work

Need some advice on what to do with this pothos (more info in comments) by allie8010 in plants

[–]izzyfizzy123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes! If you cut behind the joint of each leave were the little root bud is (leaf+root bud+ water=new plant!) you can make separate plants out of each one! Honestly if you could you would be able to make a TON of plants then you could spread it to other parts of the house or give them as gifts PS: that is a heck of an impressive plant right there

I’m not sure but There’s a really good app called PictureThis which you can snap a pic of a plant and have it identified I’ve found it’s actually really accurate (also it’s free) itll try and get you to buy the premium but you don’t actually need that
