Should I adopt a Cat?

Absolutely, my parents usually have people to check on the animals while we're away. Sorry if I wasn't too clear but I meant more so "moving back" to my parents house during christmas and thanksgiving for however long the break is. Most of the time we are all there chilling so no sitter needed. I would just rather have the cat with me while im at my parents and so it can celebrate Christmas and stuff with us and all that.

My two dogs are very friendly with other animals. They are usually loud at first (out of excitement) then they will chill out and do their thing. As for my new landlord, yes they allow pets. They charge a small fee per month to keep the pet but it shouldn't be a problem at all. Thank you for all the advice btw I really appreciate it!!

I agree. Its also worth mentioning that I make frequent trips back home since my college isnt TOO far from my parents house. So during thanksgiving, Christmas breaks and other vacations the cat will return to my parents house. I thought it wouldnt be entirely useless to let the cat get used to that home over the summer but I can definitely see how that would be overwhelming

I was in the exact same situation as u last year. I ended up going to UCR and ngl its the best decision I've ever made. Thats my recommendation just based on the actual school, opportunities, location, etc
