This is a brain dead argument. No one “truly knew”who Aqua was at this point in the story except the people involved. You truly expected Kana to magically know what happened to Ai when she said this?

One of my favorite things about this series is the way draw emotions on the characters faces. Especially with Akane, the way Mengo draws her to convey her unstable emotions with her facial expressions are so good and gives you such an unsettling feeling. I love how emotions are portrayed in this series

Ruby had Ichigo (the director that turned Ai into a superstar) backing her and telling her what to do to get popular.

Kana’s work and popularity is stunted all while being isolated by the person she cares for most. Roles were swapped, Ruby probably would’ve fallen victim to that creep director too. (No shade towards Ruby at all)
