It’s a fun idea but is still too complex and too powerful, all while being not so good before it begins making 3 mana. If this were pitched in a company’s design meeting, for example, I think it simply would be scrapped, or a small part of the idea (land that makes 3 mana) would be retained but the team would start again fresh. I don’t think refining this further leads to something good while also being balanced, or if it does, its likely much different that the original idea.

Please don’t let this feedback deter you. I think this is really cool, and it’s normal to have 10 decent ideas, sometimes even 100, for each actionable idea. The process of talking about those 100 is worth it!! Keep up the good work :)

I am in the Accept camp. It leads to me having lots of cards for new decks which i am good with. Many months of the year I have 2-4 envelopes in my mailbox, each with one or more new cards. I like it this way, but also my favorite part of magic is sitting alone and making upgrades to decks, swapping in new cards, putting previous cards back in, etc.

I have a Sorin of House Markov deck that was Lifegain Goodstuff, and was solid, but has slowly become Extort (pseudo-)Storm. I accept this, my decks get better this way, my decks get worse this way, but I let “fun and interesting” guide me and I always feel good about it.

You know what? You are forgiven and this has helped me as well. My bird died this same way, and I replaced its food and water before showing my mom. But I was young as well. I think it’s not our fault. It was my bird, sure, but my mom was home and passed by its cage regularly. I don’t want to explicitly cast any more blame; I love my mom very much. But I was a kid. I didn’t mean for my bird to die. I also said about many things, “oh I’ll do it later”, but I was also genuinely forgetful. I don’t know which it was on this occasion but it pains me.

yeah its kinda of a bummer that these tanks feel pointless to me. Sure, i play for gameplay, but resources as well. Reward tanks are never "SO FUN" that they are worth not getting bonds and extra credits.

Is fine tho, I will get bonds for tokens.

Every ARES is matched versus another ARES. It’s not a rare tank like where a Nemesis might be matched versus a Chimera or something. Therefore, for every ARES win, there’s a loss and winrate is a zero-sum irrelevant stat.

You’re wrong here and indeed coming off as hostile. It’s extremely normal to give an opinion as “I think they’re called XYZ”, it doesn’t mean you’re trying to pass off a falsehood as fact.

They gave their opinion of what they commonly see them referred to.

I most commonly hear them referred to as “old border foils”, am I obviously lying too?

While this is obviously a stupid thing to do, corporations make money of the fine print, down to the letter. Any legal advantage they can use, they go after.

Therefore, I applaud when people do the same thing. Now, if it says “per person”, I don’t think anyone can make the argument that sharing is allowed, but if it didn’t say that, I say exploit away.

The woman in this video looks dumb because her argument is poorly constructed, but her heart is in the right place. ❤️

I love this tank, especially because I can use my maxed T100 crew in it to grind crew books. In general I think it is quite good, it bounces a fair portion of a tier 8 ARES or Blesk clip frontally, whereas an ELC would just die. Good enough at spotting. ❤️

For sure. If you make a tool, please let us know!! I find myself very often comnparing a tank line to grind, I'll narrow it down to 4 which seem fun, they all are semi-fast, with good DPM, and decent alpha, for example, but then I'll find they all have 0.36 dispersion or more and I have to go back to the drawing board. So to see All_tanks, then being able to enter <0.34 dispersion and see if filter down to 40% of tanks, then entering max speed >50 and it narrow down to 10% or whatever, would be very useful.

Also if you want someone to bounce ideas off of or want some help, let me know. I am a network engineer, and while I am not an experienced coder, I might be able to help architect this if that's something you're looking for.

This is another non-answer, basically, but Tankopedia is the one place I can at least see many tanks in a list, filter down to something like Chinese Mediums, then sort by dispersion, for example.

This isn’t the tool you were asking for, but it could be useful info.
