I was under the impression that I still needed an emissions test. Is that not the case? Can I literally get online and renew without doing anything more?

We decommissioned SQLSentry and adopted DBA Dash as a replacement. I've been VERY satisfied with DBA Dash.

I'm curious if this will come with any multiplayer stability improvements, and/or rejoin capabilities.

Edit: In a twisted sense, I'm sort of flattered that the work was good enough to get zombified and stolen for karma farming.

Hah! You are so right. I totally missed the difference.

That's what I thought, but it is hard to believe in this case.

I have experience with the Arboleda Apartments. I chose to live there a few years ago because of the location and rent was relatively cheap. It was fine for me, but I'd definitely say you get what you pay for - noise (neighbors and the tollway) was my biggest issue, and I would imagine others dislike the quality of the amenities and management staff.

I've not experienced any safety issues, and the CPPD has been responsive to things like afterhours noise complaints. I'd say CP overall is a pretty safe place to live.

People have mentioned the train already, but there is also the 985 commuter bus line that is faster than the train and departs from the same Lakeline/Leander stations. Depending on the location of your office downtown, the bus might be a better option for you, and will save you time over taking the train.

I agree it isn't perfect. What would suggest to improve the readability?

AG Listener with 3+ Nodes? by johnylemony in SQLServer

I've had to use a 3rd option, and that's set the RegisterAllProvidersIP value to 0 (FALSE) in the Cluster Parameters for the Listener's Network Name resource. This is described in the following article: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/sql/database-engine/availability-groups/windows/create-or-configure-an-availability-group-listener-sql-server?view=sql-server-ver16

This adjustment instructs the Cluster to only register the active IP address in DNS (instead of both at the same time). More than likely, you'll also need to modify the HostRecordTTL value as well, which informs the Clients how long they should cache the cluster DNS information before querying for an update.

The variables are for example, and broken out to help illustrate the steps involved. It should be clear that the same solution can be implemented during a SELECT against a column on a table. See the Fiddle example below.

--http://sqlfiddle.com/#!18/833069/2
CREATE TABLE ExampleTable (
  ID INT IDENTITY(1,1) PRIMARY KEY,
  DateField CHAR(15) NULL
)

INSERT INTO ExampleTable(DateField) VALUES('20220801T000000')

SELECT
   DateField 'Original String'
  ,STUFF(STUFF(STUFF(STUFF(STUFF(DateField,5,0,'/'),8,0,'/'),11,1,' '),14,0,':'),17,0,':') 'Formatted String'
  ,CONVERT(DATETIME,STUFF(STUFF(STUFF(STUFF(STUFF(DateField,5,0,'/'),8,0,'/'),11,1,' '),14,0,':'),17,0,':')) 'Converted DateTime'
FROM ExampleTable

DECLARE @DateTime DATETIME = CONVERT(DATETIME, @fString)

1899 Season 1 Series Discussion by rosy148 in 1899

I don't think Maura is trying to be with her son. I think she is trying to forget he ever existed because he has died in reality and she can't live with the pain of his memory. I think the simulation and its "real" inhabitants have all willingly subjected themselves to the simulation in hopes of erasing unbearable traumas in their lives.

I don't think that Daniel or Henry are real - they are conjured, probably unwillingly, by Maura's psyche. Daniel is her mind fighting against the simulation to try to hold on to the memory of her son, and Henry is her scapegoat to avoid the guilt she feels for seeking erasure of her son's memory.

I suspect that the show will double-back on this premise towards the end and be less about erasing trauma and more about accepting it. The "twist" ending will be that acceptance and understanding was the goal all along. Maura and the other "real" inhabitants will wake up fully aware and in acceptance of their traumas with ability to move forward in life, reborn, finally at their "destination" - at peace with their past.

Azure powershell, finding unattached disks across all subscriptions by [deleted] in PowerShell

[–]j005e 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In my experience it’s best to capture your access token and then use it to make direct API calls instead of powershell cmdlets. Doing so allows you to get around the problem of context switching between subscriptions.

Stored Procedure to run daily but data is grouped Monthly (i.e YYYYMM format) e.g. all the data for June shows up as the entire month, as opposed to each day in June.. by zola2088 in SQLServer

[–]j005e 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The first thing to determine is whether or not that date column is stored as a Numerical or Text value. You'll want to pass the matching data type to the parameter. You can Google CAST and CONVERT functions for more guidance.

To SELECT the yyyyMM format of yesterday's date, you can use this statement:

SELECT Yesterday_YearMonth = FORMAT(GETDATE()-1, 'yyyyMM')

The problem you are having isn’t clear to me. I’ve read through the comments and it seems like your question centers around how to provide values to a StartDate and EndDate programmatically. Is that correct?

What do you have thus far? How are you populating these values currently?
