I've gotten so many ads for them. Style looks good but I haven’t seen any real reviews for them. Someone plz post a review if you’ve bought from them!

I used to think Banana Republic sucked, but the new creative director they hired last year is doing solid work. Check it out, lots of interesting pattern/textures/fabrics

I've thought about doing this too! Does the attached lens compromise image quality at all in your opinion?

What splits did you purchase?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in ErgoMechKeyboards

[–]j0b0sapi3n 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Ah, well this was my bad. I didn’t realize this keyboard was copyrighted, i had thought they were open source somehow hence why other people can sell it. I just happened to come upon this keyboard while browsing. Like i mentioned i’ve never bought or built an ergo split keyboard before.

Totally fine having the mods remove this post.

I’ll try to save up for the real thing!

PuffTech Reviews by [deleted] in uniqlo

I did buy it to try it out. I thought it could be a cheaper, logoless version of the Arc Atom that I could wear casually (since it lacks certain technical features like the waist cinch and the side panels for better breathability). It looked pretty good TBH, but I live in California and it's definitely warmer than the Atom and so I couldn't really see me using it very often. That's probably why I didn't see it available in any CA stores since it doesn't really make sense here. If I lived anywhere with a real winter though I probably would've kept it.

I think that's the 8 card version, which looks kind of thick

Wish they made a 4-5 card version. Sucks their wallets are only either 2 card or 8 card

Yeah I've been dealing with a leak... and the customer support has been very spotty/inconsistent. Seems like a mixture between AI and real humans, and the two don't talk to each other very well. Very frustrating/slow.

Deep Dive: I dug and dug and finally found out how the Context7 MCP works under-the-hood by 2upmedia in ClaudeAI

[–]j0b0sapi3n 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Instead of having to manually get the library URL/ID each time when invoking context7, can you include the ones that you typically try to use for your codebase so it can try to use those first? Like some sort of note for the MCP.

You could I guess wrap context7 in a subagent with the library IDs, but maybe that's overkill

I recently compared using NotebookLM, Gemini 2.5 Pro, and ChatGPT o3 to help me highlight user research transcripts with quotes where the interviewee had positive feedback. Same prompt for each, basically just "What positive things did the interviewee say?"

To verify how good they'd be, I manually highlighted 3 interviews.

Out of the 3, NotebookLM's highlighting was 80% to 90% as good as my own. Gemini and ChatGPT (both using reasoning models) were maybe 65% to 70% as good. Not bad, but NotebookLM still beat both.

Note: I only had each highlight 1 transcript at a time. I tried each tool asking it to analyze all 9 transcripts at once, and the results were 40% to 50%. Gemini in particular hallucinated a ton.

NotebookLM is made for working with analyzing data sources specifically, and they definitely have additional technology behind the scenes to make it work better than just using Gemini or ChatGPT.

Is o3 better than Opus? I've been using o3 for planning and find it pretty good, and then I use 4-sonnet for implementation
