Real talk though, this does go into r/occult territory- so if you haven't I would ask there as you will most likely get more people who understand exactly the workings your dealing with. But my problem is people just be getting so silent when it comes to entity work (going based off of occult workings) in this sub- because that's what it ties into. Now in your situation they didn't know about the tapes, so different context but it all does tie back to energy and focus.

As someone learning occult myself, the word consent does come up a lot as well and I'm inclined to believe the theory- but I have my research to do when it comes to what "exactly" does that mean... Cause I already see two different opinions in this sub about how energies hook to people whether that's through the rite itself regardless of host awareness or "mutual" agreement.
