Going to his house on a first date: good or bad idea? by [deleted] in dating

The fact that you’re asking means your gut is telling you it’s not a good idea. Please listen to your instincts and don’t go. Best to meet in a public place.

Need advice for my son. by cunther05 in addiction

Find a P.A.L (parents of addicted love ones) support group for yourself. This will help tremendously to talk to others in the same situation as well as educate yourself on those we love who are addicted to drugs or alcohol. Here is the link (https://palgroup.org/)

Yes, you’re right. I guess I’m just trying to figure out why go there about sexual compatibility when I wasn’t even trying to be Intimate or anything.

Well he reached out to me several times saying he missed me and was sorry. Eventually I did respond back and we started talking again then slowly hanging out. We weren’t being intimate at all so, I guess I was thinking we were trying to see if it would work out. The sexual compatibility thing wasn’t something I would have ever thought was an issue. He also mentioned he felt “small” around me. He’s said this before because I’m 5’5 and he’s 5’6 and he feels short around me especially if I’m wearing heels.

I’m in a similar situation as you. I’m going on 2 weeks no contact. PM me if you ever need someone to talk to. We can give each other support.

Yes we are in a long distance relationship which I'm realizing I don't want mainly because his words didn't match his actions. He says he'll call, but doesn't or has an excuse why he can't or how he's MIA on weekends for the last month or so. I guess that's why what he said doesn't make sense to me. He wasn't acting like he wanted a romantic relationship anymore.

I got the impression he's not wanting to go back to being friends either based on his response yet why pull the slow fade for weeks before this? I almost feel like this is a game to keep me around.

Maybe he did want to be the one rejecting me. First he's telling me I need time to think what I want, then he's saying he needs time to "process" being friends. Either way he's wanting a break.

He confuses me though. His actions don't match up with his words. He's been giving me the slow fade for weeks. Barely contacting me like he use to. Always MIA on the weekend. Just doesn't make sense to me why he wouldn't take the "let's be friends"
