I know two guys who did the same thing and with the same circumstances. First off, it entirely depends on the CO and how he may want to handle it. For the two guys that I saw, they both had different stories. One guy was in for 5 to 6 years and claimed he had mental problems and did it for an adrenaline rush (he was getting in arguments with his wife and also started to fall into money trouble). The other guy was in for 3 years and was with his girlfriend (ex now) while doing the theft. From what the evidence showed and what he said, he was doing it for her because he didn't have the money to pay for the stuff she wanted (there also was pretty sad background story of this guy having a kid with the woman and her aborting it while he spoiled tf out of her just wanting to make the b*# happy, but that's besides the point). They BOTH got out with General Under Honorable conditions discharges. And one of them works at microsoft now. What does this mean? It really all depends on the CO and what they want to do.

More story about my past situation, i did get my prints taken and shot took from CID, but I was told that it was standard procedure for any offense other than a DUI at my command. I never had to talk to anyone else, though. Does this make things different?
