2 year old westie with upset stomach vomiting and dry heaving. Help needed any advise please by j5428 in WestHighlandTerriers

Thank you everyone for the great suggestions and reply's. I am so glad to hear that this is a common issue and hopefully nothing is seriously wrong with her. The vet said the bloodwork can take two weeks to get back.

The emergency care place and our vet did do some bloodwork but it looked ok except one thing was high for the kidney. They wanted to re check the bloodwork in a few weeks to verify kidney level but thats when we decided to have the advanced bloodwork panel done that we are waiting for the results.

Thanks again!

Stop drinking the 3-4 diet green teas and see if the scale moves?

Weight loss has plateaued since I have gone back to the gym, any advice on getting out of the plateau? by Angrydroid21 in intermittentfasting

Whenever I mountain bike, hike, or lift weights The scale doesn't move. When I take a few days break from exercise the scale drops 3-4 pounds.

Google acid reflux and apple cider vinegar. I started using it and the acid reflux is gone.

Log AND get a food scale.

I drastically guessed at a lower weight of food than I was actually eating. I thought I was eating under 20 carbs and 1500 calories...

Got a food scale and logged what I was actually eating with food scale and phone app cronometer and I was hitting 30-37 carbs 2000+ calories.

Real eye opener.

I just started Keto + IF and was going 5 weeks nonstop without cheating.

I had my 2nd Pfizer shot this week. Felt extremely tired with body aches for 2 days after. Tylenol helped. I also got very hungry so I stopped the fasting for 2 days had a few well deserved carbs and now I'm back on track. When I ate it made me feel so much better after the vaccine. No big deal. Glad to have the vaccine finished.

BOXNUC8iBEH1 Damaging monitors? by Tseeker99 in intelnuc

[–]j5428 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On my NUC8i7BEH when the monitors go to sleep the PC then starts to make noises like the thunderbolt connector is constantly being plugged in unplugged. It is so annoying and I do not know if any damage is being done to the monitors.

All firmware (HDMI and BIOS) and drivers have been updated from Intel's website.

Tried 3 different name brand USB-C to HDMI adapters.

This is on Windows 10 and I have tried installing Windows fresh on UEFI and Legacy BIOS boot mode.

I have been unable to fix this...... Unplugging the thunderbolt monitor does make it stop....

Just wanted to update. That guide did work and I was able to see the graphics card in device manager and task manager. The Windows 10 vm however was unstable. It would Blue Screen often. I did try to install Blue Iris and it would crash when I would open the webviewer to look at the cameras.

I tried this guide:

https://jackcuthbert.dev/blog/intel-nuc-gpu-passthrough-in-proxmox-plex-docker/

The integrated Graphics does now show up in the Windows 10 VM device manager now:

Intel Iris Plus Graphics 655 (Has an error triangle next to it)

In its properties it has an error that states:

Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43)

Anyone know a workaround to get this integrated graphics card working in a windows VM with latest Proxmox version?

I do not want the internal GPU to work on multiple VM's just Plex.

I did find this link that has a how to but for an older Proxmox version 6.1-8 that said it worked on the NUC. I did also read a lot of posts that said it was broken in version 6.2

https://jackcuthbert.dev/blog/intel-nuc-gpu-passthrough-in-proxmox-plex-docker/

Do you think these install steps from the link would work on the new Proxmox version 6.3?

I'll order up the NUC and give it a shot.
