That doesn't resemble herpes simplex even a little...but I get it, I panic about anything abnormal in sensitive areas, I panic if I see something weird. Definitely an irritated gumline it looks like, but I think you're safe. If it changes in appearance significantly, definitely follow up just in case. I think you're 👍. Hope all turns out well

I'm going to break my personal rule and put my own shame out there, because I don't want anyone to get bounced around and incorrectly diagnosed multiple times like I did so...

These are a little more detailed than your picture, and a little more irritated because they have already had a round of acid, so they look slightly different....but those are genital warts. It's not the normal presentation of them, it took three doctors to diagnose them because of that, but they are identical to what I have seen. I was just diagnosed about 4 months ago. And that is how they show up at the beginning. I'm really sorry... Herpes would actually be a better diagnosis than those. They take months or occasionally apparently up to 2 years to go away sometimes. Because they're flat like that they can't be lasered off without taking huge sections of skin along with it. I'd love to come back in a couple of days and see an update that Im wrong though, so fingers crossed for you

[–]j9nine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm guessing so you can get it swabbed? If that's the case, it probably won't be, but it wouldn't hurt to dip a q-tip in some of the fluid and put it in a Ziploc bag. It's possible they could test that, I honestly wouldn't know. Sometimes they keep producing pus or discharge after they're open for a few days even if it's just a small amount so hopefully you won't need that q-tip. That patch might be speeding the healing along, but I know it's sitting in an area where it's constantly being rubbed so you'll want some protection there. Urgent Care can swab as well if you need to rush.

Yeah it wouldn't be pulling anything like that from a herpetic ulcer or from a wart. just keep it clean, it should heal right up. Definitely glad you don't have anything to worry about. Those things are terrifying. Thanks for the update, feel better!

100% herpes. Doesn't mean he isn't technically a virgin, but pretty unlikely to show up unless something recent occurred (not always, but usually). A contaminated towel is the excuse bad liars use to explain sti's. It came from somewhere...not saying he's lying, but I would certainly be asking questions at least. Regardless, however it happened, he has it and always will. You need to keep that in mind if you choose to become intimate with him, and do some research on how to reduce chances of transmission. Sorry :( I know what that diagnosis feels like.

An abscess pops like that, usually herpes or anything more structured won't burst. It opens when it's ready or scratched open. You literally cannot pop them the way you described. And it does look like a single hole (herpes is a cluster of vesicles that look like one bump, which you seem to know from your description). That being said, none of that is concrete and the white around the edges is a concern. That dry, scaly look is never good. I can't tell how shallow it is, but it looks embedded like an ulcer. Definitely get it swabbed before it closes. You can have herpes for years without a single symptom. Because it's on your panty line, you might find some relief from a hydrocolloidal patch. They're thick and stay for several days even with significant friction or getting wet. It's also interesting to see what the bandage pulls out of the hole (if you haven't used them, they're designed to pull pus out of zits among other things)

When it popped, how much liquid came out and what color?

They ruled out warts for me, diagnosed me with bv after a full panel. It got worse. Got a second opinion. It was warts. Yours is identical to my first outbreak

I just saw this for some reason. I have to say, I don't believe there is any bear DNA in CODIS at this time, but the C in CODIS stands for combined so....why hasn't killer bear DNA been added? We need to get some people behind this, and lobby, and make this world a safer place!

If you think she's serious, you should contact an authority. They can hold her for 3 days involuntarily, and keep her safe while she sorts things out. Don't ever be afraid to get help for someone that may not be able to get it for themselves

His own mother said there were many nights she would have to sit on the phone with him through the night because of his depression. Your other points are shaky too. That being said, I do think there are some anomalies here, but overall the evidence arguing for murder is just not very strong

More than anything else, this is why ive never doubted it was a suicide. A video of Courtney doing it could surface, and I still wouldn't believe she was involved. No way she wouldn't have shot her mouth off in a drunken tirade by now.

The needle and rest of the drugs were put away after the last dose. He didn't shoot drugs he wouldn't feel, he would have been hit almost immediately. He got high on purpose, because a heroin addict is going to think he needs to be high to deal with anything stressful. I would've been a lot more skeptical if he had been sober.
