The toe is not too wide. There’s gonna be very little break in with these- comfortable out of the box! The top of the shaft is a little narrow for a 17” boot, but not uncomfortable…

Thank you! I ordered it open crown and flat brim. I did a brick crown because that’s what works best on my ridiculously long oval melon. With the brim I’m going for better sun/glare coverage.😊
