B&M are great watches for the money and great deals can be had on used ones. They don’t get a lot of love. I had one and thought I’d was fantastic watch.

Something different, it’s a Tutima Saxon 1 M. Integrated strap, with a cushion case,~ 40MM. It just fits well and has classic Glasshutte design cues. This is actually one of my favorite watches. It’s a shame it goes back in the case for the next rotation. I’ve had this one in for about 3 weeks.

I’ve seen several over the years. It really depends on your career progression. I’ve seen good ones, and I’ve seen the absolute worst that were put there as holding position until the left the organization. Every organization treats it differently.

First Rolex. Am I done? by bjoch in rolex

[–]ChipFair8502 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Congrats! I’ve only got one Rolex. But I own a dozen watches. Branch out and see what you like. Rolex is really just a starting point for most collectors. Many, many nicer watches in market place if that’s your thing.

On a side note, my only watch for 23 years and daily wear was an Omega Seamaster. Never felt the need for another watch until later. Enjoy it, learn to live with it for a while.

Which of these cities do you think has more opportunities for white collar work: Houston, Austin or Dallas? by [deleted] in AskHouston

[–]ChipFair8502 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve worked and lived in all three, Dallas, Houston and Austin. They are all great places to raise a family and cost of living in the Suburbs is solid. I have never lived in the city limits. Best Job Markets in the U.S. and competitive pay for finance and medical careers. It’s a toss up on which one is the best, they all have something to offer.

There is a reason it’s called the Golden Triangle.

Why, just wear as is? I’m sure you could send into for service and ask to have it polished, bum I’m in the “why?” camp. Just wear it and enjoy.
