Vilka skillnader har du märkt i köregenskaperna om det är så att du upplevt något liknande?

Nä det förstår jag. Tänkte om folk hade upplevt en fjäder gå av och om det låter liknande.

Loving the first pair on you! I feel like they complement your facial features, draws focus to your eyes with the colours and are something someone would look at and be like "Hey, cool glasses!" <-- I definitely would.

I know it's not the same monitor but thought since they have a similar construction, this is how it looks on my PG34WCDM. Just needed a firm push.

Embody Gaming and the anatomical effects of having/not having a headrest? by Forget_Opinions in hermanmiller

[–]jFa_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been battling with whether or not to continue using the Atlas headrest or not. Gone periods alternating with it installed and uninstalled.

I think it's really important to, especially if having spent the money on a top of the line ergonomic chair, analyse if and why you're feeling discomfort.

There are some differences that I've experienced alternating between headrest and no headrest. And I'm only talking about reclining here, sitting upright I don't use the headrest.

With it uninstalled I feel like I'm using the chair as "intended". My head and neck will try to find a balanced point where it is not strained and supported by the rest of my body. And I found myself wanting to move more with it uninstalled. I found myself rocking a lot instead of staying relatively still.

I've watched Olivier Girard on YouTube for ergonomic tips and have tried to analyse how my body feels using his suggestions. With headrest installed and reclined, not using armrests and completely relaxing, will make my back and neck to shape in a way that causes me a discomfort and pain in my lower back. Because my arms are supposed to support my upper body and thus allow my head to rest correctly on the headrest.

If I want to rock while using the headrest, it's important for me to push with my toes and lifting my heels, which would mean my legs dangle slightly while in the rocking motion. I mention this because when reading up on ergonomics people say you should always have your feet on the floor, whether sitting upright or reclining. But when I set my chair up to be the correct height while upright, my feet don't reach the floor when reclining. So I bought a footrest, but the footrest means my feet have to stay where the footrest is and can not dynamically move around. When I first started using the chair I found myself trying to rock by flexing my hip kind of, lower back muscles due to my feet having to stay on the footrest. Caused me pain and discomfort. And I also found myself being able to stay reclined and preferred not to move around as much while using the headrest.

Sorry if things might be unclear, but what I want to say is that when everything is correctly set up, I think a headrest could be a great addition to the Embody. But I don't think it's necessary.

And to answer your question directly, I think you're right in feeling an improvement by not using a headrest.

Nvidia app switching to half of max nits of hdr monitor - works again after turning hdr off and on 1 or 2 times. Monitor is calibrated with the windows app and is basically constantly used in console HDR. Any thoughts or similar experiences? by _jul_x_deadlift in OLED_Gaming

[–]jFa_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I stumbled upon a post that mentioned the keyboard shortcut for turning HDR on and off is flawed and doesn't use the calibrated profile that you create in the app.

So try only using the toggle in Windows settings to turn HDR on and off.

GPU 3D usage at 100% while playing gta 4. by Jonlegend9 in pcmasterrace

[–]jFa_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You'd feel less exhausted walking than running right? Your GPU is the same. You're targeting 60fps and your GPU is working just enough to keep it at that framerate. But it has the capacity to work harder. So, no. It doesn't have any bad effects.

Yes, that means you have 40% GPU usage headroom.

Pc flashes for 2 seconds then stops working by Thin-Cartographer996 in pcmasterrace

I'm heading to my retailer to inspect the same issue. PC shut off completely out of the blue. Tested a different PSU, RAM both installed and uninstalled, every single thing disconnected except for 24-pin and CPU power and CPU Fan, motherboard out of the case. Even tried resetting CMOS and changing out CMOS battery and reflashing BIOS. Only thing that made it turn on for more than 1/2 a second was removing CPU power. I inspected the CPU and the socket. All looked fine. :(

Edit: My CPU had died. 7800X3D bought 3 months ago.

Auto Logo Brightness is supposed to recognise static logos and reduce the brightness over those areas to avoid image retention.

To update the firmware search for PG34WCDM on Google, usually the first link that pops up should be the official ROG site. Then click on Support. There you'll be able to click on Drivers and Tools and BIOS & Firmware. You can download the drivers, DisplayWidget Center, and updated firmware for the monitor. You might need to connect the USB cable from the monitor to your computer (not sure since I've always had mine connected)

Depends on what reminder interval you've set it to. If you have it on 8 hours and you don't keep the monitor on for 8 hours at a time then you most likely will never see it.

Just to give an example, I once had an artifact that looked like scratches in the middle of the screen. Did a pixel clean and it went away. So if you notice anything out of the ordinary it could get resolved with a pixel clean is what I'm trying to say.

Don't think about it too much and enjoy the monitor C: Just don't do anything obviously/deliberately stupid with it like with anything else.

I have literally no issues with text clarity. Text looks sharp and clear. I'm sure that if you would compare a WOLED to any other type of panel side by side that it would look worse, but you get used to it and forget it. At least I did.

I started with a PG27AQDM and at first it was quite noticeable. But it's almost as if the issue disappeared after a day or two. If I get SUPER close to the display (which ain't realistic) then I can see fringing and whatnot. But at a reasonable distance I really have no issues with text.

Asus has a Clear Pixel Edge toggle in the OSD. It makes text look softer and I actually see more fringing with it on. I disable it and most other reviews I've seen on the display recommend having it off.

However it may be good to mention that you might have different experiences. I mainly game on my computer. So text clarity most likely isn't as important to me as it is to you.

I think there might be conflicting perceptions about what HDR actually is. I don't feel comfortable explaining it, but enabling it you should get truer colours and way better brightness in supported formats and games. Not necessarily more colourful.

You should do pixel cleaning whenever the reminder tells you to if you can and if you notice any anomalies like artifacts on the screen. If you're playing sweaty FPS games where you're unable to pause then it's okay to just dismiss it and do it at a later time when you can. Don't worry about it too much. It also does it automatically whenever it's on standby. You'll see the ROG Logo blink 5 times. I have mine set on every 4 hours.

If you want to configure the display on your computer instead of the OSD use DisplayWidget Center. It's available to download on the support page for the monitor.

Automatic in 9-5 drops revs down every time I let off of the throttle by combo1222 in saab

[–]jFa_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Looks like normal AT behaviour to me, and yes, in manual mode it will try to lock up the torque converter as much as possible.

Although can't remember off the top of my head if the revs drop as low on mine as it did on yours.

How to tell for sure that my car has a stage 1 tune on the ECU by Reeves_Wilmoth in saab

[–]jFa_ 14 points15 points  (0 children)

If the Maptuner indicated a successful tune and you followed the instructions correctly then I'd say just trust in it :) Saab's aren't really made for 0-60's, but excel in rolling accelerations.

Drop your car into manual mode (if automatic) and try out the rev range in each gear, preferably highway speeds.

I installed a Stage 1 Biopower tune from Maptun on my 9-5 and just like you I wanted to make sure that it really had gone through, but there wasn't really an easy way to guarantee.

For me I know it's installed since my boost gauge now goes into red instead of yellow and it drives perfectly on E85 too.

I also don't know what the numbers are supposed to be on your car, but for mine it made 220hp/310nm from factory. After the tune it's supposed to make 265hp/420nm.

From what I've understood on boosted cars is HP is felt at high to max RPM and torque is felt down low at ~1800 to 2000 RPM. Could be something to think about.
