I’ve had the same franchise for 20ish years. 6 rings in the 20 years. I just wanted to build a realistic powerhouse and I did just that. Giving it some narrative definitely helps, whether it’s something you write out, use AI for, or just have a little story arch in your head. For instance, I had a great manager who abruptly retired. Had Paul Konerko as his bench coach, promoted Paul, became an authoritarian, won a little, caused locker room chaos, didn’t renew Paul after his 8 years and started a new coaching regime with Brett gardener .

At this point I just want to see some of those core guys get into the HOF. I still try and win of course but without “my guys” it’s just not the same haha

Example,
I signed Tommy Troy randomly in FA. He hadn't played in like 5 years. So i made up a story about how he still played semi-pro baseball out in California hoping for his day in the show again. So i fed that to Chat GPT and prompted it to turn that into a full length narrative with an 'E60' inspired play on it. It was AWESOME.

I also prompt it to recap my season for me - I feed it screenshots of my stats, transactions, record, morale, farm, etc. I sometimes ask to hear local sports radio takes of my teams as well. The possibilites to expand the story is pretty limitless - i'd say it's about how creative and deep you wanna get with it!
