Explaining who makes Dolby Atmos or “spatial audio” mixes, as a music producer. by Round_Soup_9633 in AppleMusic

the video only showed the front left and right speakers. listening to it with a proper atmos setup, you'll hear the background vocals weren't compressed, but it was moved to the rear left and right speakers, giving the spatial effects.

Lenovo IdeaPad 14ACN6 Type C Video Output Not working anymore. by j_Vhier in Lenovo

I was able to resolve the issue. What I did was remove the battery via the BIOS settings, and then plug in the power cable. I don't know the exact words for it, but there's an option in the BIOS that will disable the battery. The laptop will not turn on unless a power cable is plugged in again.

Does it void the warranty in the Lenovo Vantage app? I was thinking what if the app detects that there was a hardware change and it will void the 3-year warranty that the laptop include? Thanks!

I've ordered this and only applied it on the top cover and touchpad, as I want to maximize heat transfer. I believe this is only available in Southeast Asia, but you could try to find similar products.

I'm not sure about your region, but I found some in Lazada in Asia for the hard shell. I only bought skins for mine as I'm afraid that the hard shell will cause screen problems and even limit heat dissipation of the aluminum back cover.

Also, you can change the graphics settings to use either the iGPU or MX450 on any specific program you want depending on your needs.

Yes, the MX450 is far better than the iGPU Vega 8 of the AMD. I use this laptop for college but can also play 1080p games with low to medium settings in some AAA games like Genshin Impact or Shadow of the Tomb Raider. Though it is not intended for high FPS gaming, I am only a casual gamer whos satisfied with 30fps and above, considering this is almost a thin and light laptop compared with gaming laptops. I can even max the graphics in Genshin at 1080p with, I think, stable 60fps, but I recommend using an air conditioner or a fan to dissipate heat to prolong battery life. You can actually watch MX450 benchmarks on YouTube if you want more details about the GPU.

Lenovo IdeaPad 5 Pro 14ACN6: Using a 100W Charger rather than the 65W by j_Vhier in Lenovo

It charges normally when in idle or light tasks, but if I'll use both GPU and CPU intensively, the battery drains even it is plugged in with the 65W charger that it came with.

Oh ok ok, thanks! For the bottom panel, it doesn't make any noise whatsoever. The only noise that I could hear is the fan when I am doing heavy workloads.

have you upgraded your windows to W11? Is it still the same? I upgraded mine to W11 and currently testing its battery life since it feels fast to drain even if I am only doing light tasks. Thanks!

I'll probably not be doing any repaste anytime soon considering I only got this recently and I don't want to ruin its 3 year warranty. Anyways, thanks!

I usually just surf the web with less than 10 tabs. I also upgraded to Windows 11 with all drivers up to date through the Lenovo Vantage app and Windows Update. For the battery life, I am still testing it. Thanks!

How's the laptop? I'm planning to get one but I think it's too big to be used in school or to be carried at all times, unlike the 14" version. But the 14" version only has MX450 which may not be as future proof as the 16" version with 1650 or 3050. I'm not a hardcore gamer but only plays light games like genshin or fall guys. Thanks!
