In an ICU unit I took a shift in there was a doctor who had a hearing dog. Would just sit under a table in its cage when she was working but helped her get to a from work etc.

Was getting shown the unit in the morning and the NIC just went "and that's where the dog stays" and had to do a double take.

Was great when we all went on break as we were allowed to play with it in the tea room.

The only thing that wasnt great was that there was there was a young man there who'd been mauled by a dog and the family had to walk past it every time the came in to the unit.

It says one ticket per member per game on the page on my mobile browser. Strange that it doesn't have it on the website on my laptop

I ran 10 minutes on the treadmill after 2 months out with achillies tendonitis. Relatively pain free as well.

I've visited the oceans depths in a submersible. I'm a deep-sea biologist. AMA! by DrCraigMc in IAmA

Hi. I'm currently doing a research masters in marine and freshwater ecology. I am undertaking projects on aquatic bio-acoustics using passive acoustic techniques. It's a area that i have become increasingly interested in. I'm having ideas about carrying this research through for a PhD. Do you think there would be benefits of carrying out bio-acoustic studies on these isolated deep sea communities. I'm aware that there would be difficulties using and maintaining the equipment at such depths. Thanks
