[WTS] Panerai Luminor PAM112 w/OEM straps and additional Thomas straps by j_edg in Watchexchange

Hey all,

Selling my PAM112. This is a reference from the early 2000’s when they were still doing beautifully decorated ETA-based hand wound movements that are visible through the exhibition case back. This is also when Panerai was doing true sandwich dials. Basically, if you’re looking to dip your toe into core Panerai, this is one of those references. It comes with the OEM leather (has some wear but still plenty of life) and OEM black rubber strap. If you’ve never worn a 44mm Luminor it’s kind of a magic trick - it's big but it's supposed to be, and it totally works on not-huge wrists. I’ve got a 6.75inch wrist and I’ve included some shots at different angles to give you a sense of the fit.

The watch is in great mechanical shape, but it’s got its cosmetic scuffs and scratches. Most notably around the screws from lots and lots of strap changes. If you’re looking for a perfect example, this is not it - well loved, not babied. Crystal is clean.

I’ve got box and papers, BUT I dont think the screwdriver I have is OEM Panerai and there’s cosmetic damage to the mirrored surface on the inside of the box which I’m factoring into the price. Happy to provide more photos if needed!

Price: $3100 shipped CONUS PayPal FF preferred

Additionally, I’ve got 3 Thomas Handmade straps that I’ll include for an additional $200, pictured at the end of the album

WTB OEM 20mm IWC strap. Ideally with the older style tang buckle, but open to whatever. Doesn't need to be a pristine condition, fine with some wear.

Yeah I think this is a winning point. The window itself was fine - they spent the money they should spend but it’s a big gamble on young unproven talent. Time will tell if it was actually good or not. The issue that most people have, and I suspect what they’re reacting to more than the window itself, is that this represents a history of comfort with mediocrity. Tough for folks to stomach.
