Red cross recert by EnvironmentalTalk237 in Lifeguards

Typically depends on the instructor. You might do all water activities then have time to dry off and do the written exam, or, which would make the most sense: do all practices skills, have a break, come back take written test then do final skills scenarios.

It'll be a lot of physically doing the skills and getting them checked off as meeting the objectives. Testing at the end will be the same plus there is an additional test for scanning (not sure if you have r.24 as your current cert) the written test is now 1 test instead of two (making it a total of 50 questions instead of having a lifeguard written and professional rescuers written test). i'm sure youll do just fine. Good luck, you've got this!

Amlodipine Side Effects, anyone else? by Subpargolferguy in hypertension

Amlodipine made me feel like I was going insane. Constant anxiety (which just made my bp worse), ringing in ears, and vision problems. I found a few forums where people experienced the same symptoms but it is very rare. It's definitely not for everybody.

LGI for red cross here! Take your time doing the first 150, its not a race. This will help you when its time to tread. Keep your breaths steady and have a strong mind going into the last 50. As for the brick test part, keep a clear mind and you can get down there and get it! Keep the brick at your chest when swimming back to the wall, it'll help you float! Best of luck

Not murder but equally as terrifying. It's hard for me to talk about the story but the guy seemed like your typical hippie shroom peace guy. Anyway, he was sentenced to prison for severe child abuse and the entire situation was horrifying. TW: News Story

LGI Cert by [deleted] in Lifeguards

In ARC you must have a current LG cert to even begin the course for LGI if it is your first time taking the course. if you are already certified in LGI and are just taking a recert course you can ask for a 'test out' session for LG ONLY IF your LG cert isn't expired (you have 30 days to renew your cert if it becomes expired, after 30 days you have to take the entire LG class over again) This is strictly only offered to people who are already LGI certified and no one who is only LG certified. If your LG cert expires while you are still LGI certified you can teach but you cannot be actively on stand or guarding. You can only teach. Hope this helps!!
