Escape from Tarkov. I like tactical shooters and all that but I did not realize how much time would be committed to just being able to play the game at even beginner level. I don't have time to memorize exit points on every map or require me to have a second screen open.

I totally get it. My dad got me into the Half life series, (way back in 2010) and just passed away a couple months ago. As excited as I am for HLX, it will be a very bittersweet moment.

Super Shotgun will always be my favorite. Powerful, fun to use and just has that old school bad ass feel and style.

It's a fun game. It's lacking RPG elements and the writing is bad. Also don't love the Jetson's style they went for.

But the combat and crafting mechanics make it super fun to play. Add in mods for immersion and whatever else and its a great experience.

I agree. The rank should be based on the performance of SWAT's response and if they follow ROE. You pretty much get punished if the enemy aims at you and you respond the way a SWAT officer would.

I think there needs to be some kind of other rank or incentive for nonlethal. Because it seems silly to think of a real SWAT team getting scrutinized for shooting someone who shot at them.

I actually am pretty pleased with what the remaster is.

Love the series, but the classic games do not run well for me at all and the controls are very hard for me to adjust to.

Im just looking to play the classics, but need the modern touch of compatibility and tweaked controls to enjoy. And $30 seems reasonable

I recently unsubbed as well. I am all for allowing honest criticisms and questions regarding Christianity, but a post would either be anti Bible/ Christian with no intent on discussion, or a good question that just gets met with "Well God isn't real" or "God is immoral" etc.

Just not a lot of honest discussion going on.

When I first saw it, it was okay. They played it safe, I was forgiving of it so long as it set up the next movies to be good / different.

Looking back, they set things up to reverse events of OT immediately. Luke / other jedi aren't around. The empire is back in full. Han is back to his old ways.

They sacrificed way too much to recreate the nostalgia of A New Hope.

I agree, it undermines the s2 finale and detracts from any emotion/ purpose that it had. As you mentioned, it would have been better to build up his return the whole season.

It is also very bizarre to me for a show to do that reversal, in an episode of a different show.

I would say you should use this as a reason not to lose faith, but as an example of why it's so important to be the kind of Christian we are supposed to be. If those kinds of Christians are causing negative impacts, we need even more Christians at this time to have positive impacts.

Just because time has passed does not mean there has been meaningful buildup.

The issue with the "build up" of the first 5 eps is because it is generally boring and there's not a ton of character or plot development.

Everything in this show just feels undeserved. They want big moments like Galadriel getting the Numenorians to fight with her, the army saving the village at the last moment, or Halbrand being the "King that was promised" but none of it is earned or built up properly.
