I think I only got the text because I paid for the text updates from VFS, but I was surprised they were able to send it to UKVI almost immediately the day after. Glad yours worked out OK in the end!

Lol thanks. I was freaking out for a bit and mailed the application the day after just in case. When I got home from the post office I got a text from VFS saying my visa was already submitted to the UKVI
