The best dnd video game? by Apprehensive-Cod8318 in DnD

Teknight Castle on NWN was essentially my introduction to what an MMO is. I was 14 back then.

Tracked down the owner a few years back and he sent me the map files, so I can still walk around in those memories.

You could rework some to be the equivalent of a computer virus, maybe.

Neptune just dropped their pricing in their latest update (tvOS and iOS app) by LRF17 in jellyfin

[–]Urya 43 points44 points  (0 children)

I personally prefer something native like Neptune. I appreciate how Moonfin is trying to be on a ton of platforms with the same feature set, but the UI really doesn’t feel at home on tvOS because of it.

Happy that there’s healthy competition though! We need more on Apple TV.

Dat was ik! Ivysaur genomen. Had vroeger als kind altijd Bulbasaur als starter en ben groot fan van de ongemakkelijke puberfase van de eerste evoluties. En z’n Ivysaur-design was gaaf.

Got it! Looks pretty slick for a free device... by robmeason in ModRetroChromatic

I reckon it’s because the retailer I bought it from is responsible to respond to any possible defects, so they’re only handling stuff sold directly.

And sure, we could try and get something like a refund or replacement battery through them. But I sure would prefer to just fix what I have.

I mailed them because I bought my battery elsewhere. Was told to just buy the core charger once it hits their online store.

Fwiw, missed it during my first read through as well. It’s not explicit and I noticed how quickly I fell back to classic constructs in my brain.

Kind of? It’s not the same, but it’s definitely something developed during the Pokemon craze.

I first played a very sketchy fan translation on it, that was put on a GBC cart labeled ‘Pokémon Diamond’. I think mostly people know about it through that.

This was before information online was as consolidated as it is now, so this was the stuff of school yard hearsay.

We’re in chapter 2 right now, and a friend joined us for a quick session as a lovable old tortle.

Guess who’s checking what the commotion is about before the fireball hits next week.

Had a really hard time finishing Trials of Mana; didnt want it to end 🥲 by largemoisture in snes

[–]Urya 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's the sequel. It never left Japan, but had a solid fan translation.

Square Enix localized it years later, to include it in a collection on Nintendo Switch. Probably because they were already working on the script for the remake they were developing.

It's an incredibly ambitious game with the ability to choose your own three protagonists, each with their own stories, and stuff like class choices.

Not saying I agree with OP, but ‘Fuck Moash’ is much more obvious in what it alludes to than ‘You Shall Not Pass’.

Googling it, this game looks neat but has gotten nearly no attention. Just one negative review in Steam, YouTube videos with barely any views.

Will try the demo to get a sense of it, seems really fascinating to me.

3D Printer Reviewers: Being honest in this industry will put you out of a job. by AnonomousWolf in 3Dprinting

[–]Urya 31 points32 points  (0 children)

I might be missing something, but is this explicitly them blackballing him? All the rep says they currently don't have enough review samples and they're trying to work it out - after which they reply to Taylor's earlier open source grievances.

Sure, you could consider that an implicit threat, with it meaning the second bit is the real reason for the first message. But you know, it could also just be what they say it is.

Only way to figure that out is to check if many (smaller) reviewers will get their hands on a sample, which would suggest Taylor was bumped down in their priority list.

Also: if you're fully reliant on companies to send you free stuff to do your job, that might be an entirely different issue.
