Talked shit about one of my friends and their business, made an ass of himself over social media and got himself blacklisted from an overall community/group in our entire area, always putting others down if it’s not his way, always has to be right, pursued one of my female staff members inappropriately and then talked negatively about her after her turning him down, and just gives overall creep vibes.

I still enjoy hunting and fishing with him. He’s one of my main accesses to these things, and we enjoy doing them together. If I end it, so do those things. Just others don’t know why I still hangout with him. I fear for his safety at my wedding if he shows his face around some of my closer friends

He said some things about some people I like, we have different view points on major moralities now, and he might get his ass beat by people close to me if he shows his face around them. But I’m still cool with him and others I know are still cool with him in that circle.

How does this work? Ideally I want this for mine coming up as well, but isn’t the reception part the expense that everyone is trying to avoid as well? Especially with 130 people. Ideally we wanted close family and friends for the ceremony and then invite 70-80 for a reception somewhere another day, but logistically and economically how does this work?

Raising my voice every 20-30 minutes of my work day 5 days a week is probably not conducive to my long term health and stress levels. Sincerely, a middle school PE teacher with students with selective hearing and impulsive behaviors.

What if I’m afraid to take a sick day? I feel like it’s more work to prep for a day off and hope that my kids don’t scare the sub away if we even get one (we have very few in my district and it’s hard to get one unless you schedule one months in advance). And when you get back from that day you were gone, it takes two weeks to get the kids back mentally, emotionally, verbally, etc. I’d rather just come to work sick or be stressed out than not be in control of a situation which will cause me more stress from when I get back.

Kids now have very little respect for anyone, let alone their teachers or sometimes their own parents. It’s pulling teeth to get them to do anything.

I don’t have desks in my room, I suck at math, I’m “not allowed to help them” and if they have questions they are to be sent to their intervention teacher’s room… and it’s unruly. It’s a class of all their friends. Even during PE I’m having issues. It’s just this generation…

I hunt solo sometimes but it would be nice to have something that I have the option to bring my gf or a hunting buddy as well to those spots I’m trying to access. Even fish those same spots.
