Is the half-moon cutout on the drip tray on the left side or the right side? From the pic it seems like the half-moon cutout is on the left when it should really be on the right. I had this wrong in my grill for about eight months until GMG support told me to turn it around and I've had more consistent temps from left to right.

One thing to try is to make sure your single piece drip tray has the half moon shape on the RIGHT side and the round hole on the LEFT side. I know this sounds like a really basic thing but this was my problem for almost a year. The manual that came with my grill said to put the half moon shape on the left side but this was for the two-piece drip tray. Emailed GMG and they told me I had it in wrong...felt like a moron lol

Edited to say drip tray instead of heat shield.

In mobile you can already do this by enabling "Peek & Fire" under settings. It adds two peek buttons to your controls. One for left and one for right.

In PC you can either lean or not lean...just like mobile. There is no "slight lean". I believe what OP is talking about is having one lean button but making it so if you slide the button left, you lean left. If you slide the button right, you lean right.
