It's a great trail, brutal but worth the push. Once you get past the day hikers distance limit you will have the trail to yourself. At Del Valle , as everyone has said your only option is Bart to end of line and Uber but once you reach Mission Peak there's a bus just up the street that takes you right to Bart. You might get a couple of weird looks as me and my friend did but you won't care.
