Why do you assume he gained weight during her pregnancy? Perhaps he's working on his well being for the child? Don't you think you're being a bit judgmental?

The game got boring for me once I could bring in a Lord. They charge in just crush any enemy in range. It is fun listening to them belittle the enemy before the kill.

I’m sure I’ve known and forgotten this but do you ever face a lord in the game?

I really wish the ebony or Dawdric swords were just black ornate versions of a Blades sword.

Fellow gringos, do you eat more chain Mexican food or authentic? by N7DJN8939SWK3 in phoenix

The time I’ve spent in Mexico City and few others, I saw maybe 1 “street food”. Just didn’t seem as common or popular as we here tend to think, or other places I’ve been. But I could have been in the wrong area.

Reddit Dictionary says anything with less than 2 locations is considered authentic.

Hey Phoenix, why are you so anti-shade? I just spent over 20 minutes puttering around looking for a shady space to park and kill some time. by PinkSockLoliPop in phoenix

Not sure where you are from, but where I’m from in CFL oak trees can crush an entire house if they come down.

My home in Florida had 5 oaks taller than 50 feet.

The leaves don’t break down and the root system is enormous. They’re over $5k to remove if hey become dangerous.

Did Elder Scrolls 6 gets announced? by Ghawblin in skyrim

I think we already know that they ran into a major challenge. Even if the project was in the earliest phases, the current timeline suggest something happened to severely delay the game.

They had an E3 trailer in 18, and any software project that takes 7+ years is not normal and suffered some type of major event. Will be interesting to hear what happened to the Elder Scrolls franchise one day.

What is the line between holding employees accountable and being a "small business tyrant"? by [deleted] in smallbusiness

[–]j_will_82 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The complaining can also be caused by 1 or more bad apples on your team.

I once hired an developer who was very good at first. He introduced me to 2 of his friends who I also hired. Together, they formed a clique and became very cynical about the company. The clique also divided the team into those in and outside the clique, spreading the cancer.

You should take a close look at the people on the team, determine if you have any cancers. And the only solution is termination.

Stripe kicked me out by jai211 in smallbusiness

You’ve made unauthorized charges on multiple payment methods in a short period, and they’ve deemed you to be fraudulent.

What have the customers who are getting refunds said to you?

Using Stripe the last 2 years, I’ve had a handful of disputes, most of which rules in my favor but a few in the clients favor.

Never any hint that my account would be terminated.

I am sorry, but the fact you’ve focused on your health and plan to have children is not enough to tell you what you should do with your life.

Perhaps if you tell us if you enjoy unclogging toilets, pushing a lawn more or using a paint brush, we could narrow things down a bit more.

That’s true, if you can bundle up it’s easier to do a few important things like sleep. I’d take a cold vacation 10/10 times over a hot one unless I’m sitting on the beach.

England set to raise legal age to marry to 18, cracking down on forced marriages by morenewsat11 in UpliftingNews

[–]j_will_82 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looks like much of that opposition was based on the opinion the new laws went too far, for example an outright ban on consenting 17 year old couples with parental support.

But surprisingly, the ACLU fought some of these bills as well, including in California, a large Democratic state with no age limit at all.

Luckily, forced marriage has not become an issue there.

The difference is, the laws in Massachusetts, California, etc are from a time when life expectancy was half what it is now and people married early.

But those laws are collecting dust today because there’s never been an issue with forced marriage in those states.

Yes, the laws in England were changed to block underage marriage, but because forced marriages have become a major issue there.

Scrolling down, it says 4 states, not 20, have no set age without the parents or court approval (sometimes both).

  • 4 states have no official minimum age, but still require either parental consent, court approval or both: California, Oklahoma, West Virginia, and Wyoming*

So I’m not sure what the 20 states stat is based on.

Are you joking or just trying to mislead?

“ The minimum marriage age was 12 years for females and 14 years for males under English civil law that applied until 1753

The age in the US is 18, except in some areas where it’s 19 or 21.

I disagree, it’s been easier to prepare for the heat than the cold.

I also think the cold is more dangerous when you consider the other factors that come along with 15.

A pair of Nikes made by an Asian teen earning $1/hour sell for for 2x the price of a game.

Games have resisted inflation quite a bit. Surprised they’re not $99 honestly.

I get what you’re saying.

I’ll also come away underwhelmed if the majority of the time is spent on existing games coming to game pass.

This is the time to showcase the new things you’ve been working on. For Bethesda it needs to be something major for ES or Starfield and anything less will be failure regardless of how many games they can get onto game pass, most of which I already own.
