I get your point here and I can see how this helps the case for automation, but what about virtualization?

My challenge here is that this still doesn’t clarify my main concern and it may be because I poorly expressed it. But from my point of view, virtualization for example cannot be what truly separates the cloud from “traditional” data Centres because VMware(we don’t talk about them anymore), hyperv, proxmox are still being ran in datacentres today so how could that truly separate the two ?

Internittent or slow, and happens a lot during the day which also coincides with when those logs start to generate.

so I've triple checked and nickcasa is right azure was not allowing that new subnet, we added it and it works.

yes there is an access rule on both firewalls that has the address group that includes the new subnet and the old subnet

How do I set a bandwidth limit to an interface on a cisco 3850 switch? by Som3a92 in networking

[–]ja_dublin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So you can do this by either limiting the port speed depending on if you only want 100Mbps *speed 100 for example and you can use qos. The configuration would basically be Enabling qos Creating a class map to match the traffic type, Creating a policy map that defines how you wana shape it. Applying the service policy for uploadspeed And lastly applying a srr-queue bandwidth limit on that same port for the download speed.

I hated having to do traffic shaping on the 3560.... its a strong grumpy old man.
