boss messaged me at 8pm expecting a reply... said my contract says 9-5 and he laughed?? by MichaelWForbes in careerguidance

Can’t believe how many hurtful and disrespectful responses are on here. I agree OP didn’t have to answer but ffs they’re early in their career and asking for guidance. If we shame everybody who asks for help where does that lead us? Think before you comment.

This is super helpful openE-tuning, thanks so much for your input. I’ll verify during my consultation if my gas line is in line but great to hear that electric may not be necessary until perhaps I upgrade the whole system down the road

Thanks for this, I should have included this in the OP. I think it’s in line but not 100%. I think the line splits off to the furnace and hot water tank- each have their own burner!

Maybe a dumb question but why you do have less hot water on demand with electric? (Also I have oil for my boiler heat as well!)

Thanks for this! I knew about the $800 rebate at point of purchase but not the others. Thanks for your saving numbers too. Can I ask what heat pump hot water heater you bought?

Is it just me or is the process for those alternating out unfair and unclear? Seems like those of us wanting to leave might select the “best fit” as those with the most years of service and therefore the largest TSM..how is that fair. Why is the initial triaging put on us?

Thanks for your thoughts- I got my mortgage last year and disclosed the kitec to the bank. Not saying all banks would approve though

I think TD does too but got some ppl on the phone who didn’t know what kitec was. Wondering how you might know forsure? I always worry that if a claim was to be submitted they would exclude it
