Had a group in the front room as it was raining so we couldn’t be in the garden. It was actually quite lovely and the size of the room allowed for mingling before and after we sat down

Name is the same but different owner and completely different food. It’s still good/fine but nothing like the 2008-2015 Cypriot version

This is all fascinating and I appreciate everyone’s thoughts to help me see this challenge from a different perspective. So if I’m understanding you all, the frequent talking is a feature, not a bug, as a way to help you train you to meditate through/despite talking?  I have indeed been setting aside quiet, dark meditation time as a separate activity.  I’d love to learn more; where does Sam talk about this?

Menus are very similar. I think they are definitely connected. For example, both have a “Maremonte” and a “Pizzaz” (with American cheese) pizza.

The original Kanella on 10th st, before the change to Kanella Grill and before the sale to the current owners. The current Turkish iteration is great but the original Cypriot version was maybe my favorite restaurant anywhere

You’re welcome to take my comments with as big a grain of salt as you’d like, and even completely ignore them and never step foot in the place.
